Stone Crab (Jaiba Chilena)

  • Scientific Name: Cancer edwardsii
  • Description: Our Chilean crab is harvested between February to May and between August to November. In Chile, two varieties stand out: the marbled crab and the lemon crab, both known for their exceptional flavor and texture.
  • Products: Our range of crab products is designed to satisfy our customers' different tastes. We offer marmola crab claws in 3 segments, providing a more natural experience. We also export ready-to-eat crabs, known as 'Jaiba pinza Coctail,' available in Jumbo, Large, and Medium sizes, ready to be served.

Chilean loco (Loco)

  • Scientific Name: Concholepas concholepa​​s
  • Season: Seasonal
  • Description: The chilean loco is a carnivorous mollusk exclusive to the coasts of Chile and Peru. Despite competition, it remains highly sought after, especially in the Asian market and by Chilean restaurants. We offer it canned, both in the local market and in Taiwan, in jars with 2 to 3 locos.
  • Export: Primarily, we export frozen raw chilean loco. (In IQF format)

Sea Urchin (Erizos)

  • Scientific Name: Loxechinus Albus
  • Description: Our sea urchins are hand-harvested from April to October. We export various presentations, including raw block sea urchin, scalded molded sea urchin, scalded poured sea urchin, sea urchin in alcohol, and sea urchin paste. The primary market for this product is Japan, with approximately 1,500 tons exported annually from Chile.
  • Preparation Process: Our sea urchins undergo a meticulous series of steps to ensure their exceptional quality and flavor.

King Crab (Centolla)

  • Scientific Name: Lithodes santolla
  • Description: The king crab is an exquisite crustacean that inhabits depths of up to 600 meters in the southern and austral zone of Chile. Its meat is known for its unparalleled flavor and is a nutritional source of iodine, low in cholesterol, and rich in proteins. This crustacean is highly regarded by the finest restaurants in the world.
  • Availability: Seasonal, with the highest catch between August and November.
  • Features: We offer pre-cooked whole king crab and pre-cooked frozen king crab clusters.

Chilean Seabass (Bacalao de profundidad)

  • Scientific Name:Dissostichus eleginoides
  • Description: Known as "Chilean Seabass" in the United States, is one of the treasures of the sea. It is caught at depths of over 2,000 meters in the Antarctic seas. Its white flesh with fat infiltration gives it a firm and flavorful texture, making it a favorite choice in fine dining.
  • Export Forms: We offer portions, fillets, and HGT (head, gutted, and tail off), available for several months of the year depending on the region.
